Teacher With Porn Site Dismissed

AUSTRALIA – A school teacher who hosted his own adult website has been asked by parents and school administrators not to return to Launceston College.

The Council of State School Parents & Friends Association have stated that what English teacher Jamie Brown did with his spare time was none of their concern, but that they felt he should leave his teaching post and stick with his new career in porn.

Brown recently launched his own website, gdaytwinksaustralia.com.au, an amateur gay site. The paysite's content features local men between the ages of 18-26, according to News.com, and remains in strict compliance of Australian porn and website laws.

School administrators have expressed dismay that porn has been associated with one of Tasmania's leading educational institutions.

Brown said he started the website while he was working part-time at the college and then later took an extended leave of absence from his teaching duties. Brown says he started the website for $15,000 in 2003.

"There is no suggestion that he has done anything wrong within school time," said the president of Launceston. "But if he is not returning to school teaching then that is probably a good thing. We don't like to see uninterested teachers in the profession, it is hard enough as it is."

In the meantime, Brown is qualified to continue teaching for another two years, News.com reports. Although a representative from the state government is saying that Brown's credentials will be more thoroughly reviewed the next time he renews his teaching application.
